The agency’s Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Ibrahim, issued a statement on Thursday highlighting Mahmud’s remarks. He stated that the training would equip staff with essential skills to manage road traffic and emergency situations effectively.
Mahmud urged participants to make the most of the opportunity and commended BUK for its support, pledging continued collaboration with academic and professional bodies.
Earlier, Deputy Coordinator of the training, Malama Rahama Suleiman, explained that the programme was designed to provide marshals with modern first aid techniques to address the increasing challenges encountered in the field.
She reaffirmed the department’s commitment to supporting initiatives that improve public safety.
