Heirs Insurance Group has launched the Heirs Insurance Retirement Dream Competition, a ₦5 million grant initiative aimed at empowering retirees and pre-retirees across Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the company on Wednesday, the competition targets Nigerians aged 50 to 75 who are retired or approaching retirement and have a history of paid employment.
The initiative offers a total prize pool of ₦5 million to support individuals with viable post-retirement projects. To enter, participants must submit a one-minute video outlining a personal project or aspiration that would enhance their quality of life in retirement.
The company stated:
“Three winners will be selected. The top entry will receive a ₦2.5 million grant, while the first and second runners-up will receive ₦1.5 million and ₦1 million respectively.”
Entries should be submitted via the official competition page at www.heirsinsurancegroup.com/retireesclub. Submissions opened on 6 August and will close on 12 September 2025. Winners will be announced in October.
The competition is part of a broader initiative under the newly launched Heirs Insurance Retirees Club, a platform designed to help retirees connect, access expert advice on health and financial wellness, and improve their overall quality of life.
