FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Yinka Sanni as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective 8 May 2025.
The announcement, made by Managing Director Roger Adou and signed by Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Ore Famurewa, follows the retirement of former Chairman Moyo Ajekigbe, who served from 2010 to 2025.
Adou praised Ajekigbe’s leadership, noting his role in steering the company through significant growth, including the launch of dairy development initiatives and expansion of the product portfolio.
Sanni, formerly a Group Executive at Standard Bank Group, expressed his commitment to sustaining FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s legacy as Nigeria’s leading dairy brand and driving innovation and growth.
In his farewell remarks, Ajekigbe thanked stakeholders for their support and expressed confidence in Sanni’s ability to lead the company to greater heights.
