The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mrs. Nancy Nathan as the Acting Head of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) Service.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by Mr. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister.
Olayinka explained that Nathan’s appointment is in an acting capacity, pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.
Her appointment follows the death of Mrs. Grace Adayilo, former FCTA Head of Service, who passed away on 1 September.
Until her new role, Nathan served as Permanent Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA. She had previously held the position of Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the FCT Minister before her elevation to Permanent Secretary.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
