Transparency Pledge: Oyo Assembly Commission Sets Date for Merit-Based CBT Exam

The Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission has announced that shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise will sit for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 25 September 2025.

The examination is scheduled to take place at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, Olode, Ibadan, commencing at 8:00 a.m.

The Commission’s Chairman, Mr. Julius Okedoyin, stated that the exercise underscores its commitment to a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process. He urged applicants to disregard unofficial information and rely solely on updates from the Commission’s official recruitment portal.

All shortlisted applicants have been instructed to log in to their recruitment dashboards to view their examination schedules and other crucial details. “All qualified shortlisted candidates must access their dashboards on the application portal to view their individual examination schedules and ensure that they are properly guided ahead of the exercise,” Okedoyin said.

He stressed that punctuality and strict adherence to examination guidelines are compulsory, advising candidates to bring their examination printouts and a valid form of identification to the venue.

Okedoyin described the CBT as a critical phase in the recruitment process, forming the basis for the next stage. He reassured all applicants of the Commission’s continued dedication to fairness and transparency throughout the procedure.
