CDCFIB Extends Paramilitary Recruitment Deadline to 11 August

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended the deadline for its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise to Monday, 11 August 2025.

This was announced in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril. According to the statement, the extension aims to give prospective applicants more time to complete their registration.

“The board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for application for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week,” Jubril said.

The recruitment portal, originally scheduled to close on 4 August, will now remain open until 11 August. Interested applicants are advised to complete their submissions before the new deadline.

Applicants are reminded that the official recruitment portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

Recall that the online recruitment, which was initially set to begin on 2 July, was postponed twice—first to 14 July and eventually launched on 21 July.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, and cautioned applicants that the entire exercise is free of charge.
